Giving via ACH (your checking account) is the most cost efficient means of electronic giving, as we are not charged fees for this method. Please follow the directions below to set up ACH giving with your checking account. It takes just a few steps, and you'll need some information that can be found on one of your paper checks.
How to Set Up ACH Giving
First, click on the "Give" link from any page on our website and you will be taken to a page that looks like the image below. Click "Login" at the top-left of the page.
This will direct you to a page that asks you for your email address. Entering your email address will allow you to enter and manage your giving profile through a login link that will be sent to your email address.
Once you enter your email address, you will receive the following email with a link to your profile. Profile and giving management will always be done this way with this particular giving platform. The nice thing is that it doesn't require you to remember login information such as a password.
Clicking on the "Log In Now" link will then take you to your profile management page, like the one below. From there you can set up ACH giving by clicking on "Add Bank Account." Once you do this, you will be walked through some basic steps that are necessary to confirm the account.
This process will take a couple of days, as the confirmation involves making two small deposits (i.e. 3 cents and 5 cents) into your account and you confirming the amount of those deposits. This is actually an important step to make sure it's the right account! Once the account is confirmed though, you won't need to follow those steps again.
From then on you will be able to make a one time donation or set up a recurring donation through that account.
